Christmas and New Year's 2002/2003

Sadly, the majority of my long-time friends have left San Diego. As a result, this was a much quieter Christmas than in the past. On the other hand, I didn't return to San Diego for Christmas last year, so this was the first big family gathering in two years (my sister was home from Kenya for the month also). In addition, a couple of my friends have now moved just north of San Diego to UC Irvine -- only about 1.5 hours away.

Same picture as above, but now with my mother

Christmas Eve with my father's side of the family

Christmas Day, again with my mother's side. Incidentally, it's sheer coincidence that both bottles of wine ended up in front of me. Really!

Same as above.

The traditional shot with Santa at my aunt and uncle's house. Unfortunately, this is a bad picture, but it's the only one that came out. The flash didn't go off on the other one.

New Year's Eve at Medieval Times

Joy, Carter, David, Raquel, and Robert (this isn't the best picture, but it's the only one of us at the table)

We Five Kings... (Joy, Carter, David, Robert, Raquel). OK, well some are queens...

Everone except for me.
